Derwent Inktense Pencils

I recently received a set of 24 Derwent Inktense Pencils.
After getting to know them a little bit I more and more start to love these ink pencils.

Derwent Inktense at first sight seems to be a watercolour pencil, but this is not the case.
Inktense has ink in it. You can handle it just like a watercolour pencil, but after the colours have dried, the colours become permanent.
With watercolour pencils you can move the paint around after you put water on it for a second or third time, but with Inktense this works only a little bit.

Inktense is also available as Inktense Blocks. These look a little bit like blocks of soft pastels, but they are the same as the pencils.

So far I really enjoy these pencils and will certainly use them a lot in the future!
